The New England Patriots acquired tight end Dwayne Allen (and also a 6th rounder) from the Indianapolis Colts in a deal that sent a 4th rounder back to Indy.
Allen already took to Twitter to thank the Colts organization but also state that he is looking forward to being a Patriot.

Digging deeper into his Twitter account, here’s what he had to say about the infamous deflate gate game back in 2014:
@NFLonFOX not a story. They could have played with soap for balls and beat us. Simply the better team. We have to continue to build! #BTM

Gotta love it, a player that really didn’t care about the ‘scandal’ that ensued. I like this guy already. Clearly he is a guy that has a good head on his shoulders and knew they got their doors blown off by a team could have used ‘soap for balls’ like he stated. A true honest sentiment, you have to admire that, and now I’m glad he’s one of us.
Colts fans ate him up for that statement, meanwhile, Patriots fans let him know this was really appreciated. You have a lot of built in fans already, Dwayne!
@Dallen83 Thank you, Dwayne. You have a fan in Boston.
