The Boston Celtics played out of their minds last night. The first half wasn’t the prettiest of basketball, but somehow the Celtics kept it close at halftime, the second half was all Celtics. The Celtics dominated the second half, offensively and defensively and went on to beat the Warriors yet again at Oracle Arena, a place where teams just flat out don’t win.
The Celtics are the first team to beat the Warriors in back to back season in Golden State. They did so in shutting down their top 2 players in the 4th quarter. Klay Thompson and Steph Curry combined for just 1, yes ONE, point in the 4th quarter.
After the win, someone hilariously updated the Warrior’s home stadiums Wikipedia page:
Damn right the Celtics own Oracle Arena. This Celtics team is literally the only team in the NBA that has gone into Oracle and absolutely manhandled the Warriors. If the Celtics could somehow manage a way to get through the East, look out.
Since the NBA trade deadline, the Celtics have beaten the Cavs and the Warriors, so who knows. As for this Celtics team, they are playing great, after two heart breaking losses back to back during this West coast trip, they elevated their game last night in Golden State.
