Looks like Tom Brady has himself a brand new target.
The New England Patriots, who are thin on the wide receiver front, have just completed a trade with the Cleveland Browns for WR Josh Gordon per Adam Schefter:
Trade now agreed to: Patriots are sending Cleveland a 5th-round pick and if Gordon isn't active for 10 games, Patriots get back a late-round pick from Browns, sources tell ESPN.
As @rapsheet reported, Patriots were closing in on trade for Gordon.
Trade now official.

The Patriots are sending the Browns a 5th round draft in return for Gordon and if Gordon isn’t active for 10 games, the Patriots get a late round pick from the Browns. This trade is the definition of a low risk – high reward deal. I absolutely love this move for New England. Gordon, 6 foot 3, is someone that just needs the appropriate setting to shine and he will have that in New England.
Gordon has only been active for 1 game this season with the Browns in the 21-21 tie vs. the Steelers in which he caught 1 pass for 17 yards. Gordon will be one of the most talented receivers the Patriots have had since Randy Moss and this is truly exciting. Gordon will open up the field for guys like Gronk and Edelman, and that’s exciting.
