Let’s be real, yesterday was just an ugly day for the New England Patriots. There wasn’t any cause of concern to call the Patriots season a total loss, but it also showed us that this team is nowhere near where it should be. I’m not worried, but I’m also a little worried if that makes any sense.
That being said, the Patriots are perhaps one step closer towards improving things on the offensive side of the ball. The Pats are reportedly closing in on making a deal for WR Josh Gordon:

This is the exact move by the Patriots that really could bolster the offense. Gordon is a weapon and he just needs a chance. Playing for a team like New England could be that chance he needs to thrive. Gordon is not only a weapon himself at 6′ 3″, but he would also open up the field for guys like Gronk and Edelman (when he returns from suspension). Gordon would be the most talented WR the Patriots have had since Randy Moss, and if the Patriots can swoop in and get Gordon in a low risk deal, there’s no reason why fans shouldn’t back this deal.
I love this move and I think Gordon is someone that can turn himself around in New England. We’ve seen it time and time before with guys like Moss, Harrison and Dillon. Make it happen BB because that yesterday, was beyond frustrating.
